P-Tree Urinal Posted: 23 Aug 2011 07:05 PM PDT Dutch designer Sam van Veluw has developed a new way to answer the call of nature at outdoor events and venues. After a long search for a public restroom at a music concert one evening, he came up with the concept of strapping a waterless urinal onto a tree. These would be simple to install and can relieve the pressure on porta-potties (we had to use the pun) at public events. How People Drown in the Sea Posted: 23 Aug 2011 06:58 PM PDT This man was asleep in the surf. His two friends and girlfriend paid no attention to their drunk comrade. He would occasionally wake up and make attemps to get out on the sand as it was so uncomfortable to lie down on such sharp stones. Only after other beachgoers pointed out that the man needed help, the fair company began… to take photos of him. This was followed by another attempt to get the man ashore. However, the second friend could hardly stand straight himself. One of the two friends went swimming, and the other one understood that something was going wrong. So he decided to interfere. He started to wash the drunk man's face with water hoping to sober him up. And this was after he spent half an hour in the sea which didn't help him. At this point, one of the two friends nearly managed to get his drunk companion out of the sea. But the third man who was swimming decided to help as well. He almost stamped out his drunk comrade and was about to get killed on the rocks himself. So the first friend left his poor fellow and started to push the second one out of the way. Source
