Bruce Mozert pioneered the art of underwater photography when he began shooting publicity photos, such as the ones above and below, in the 1940s to promote top tourist attraction Silver Springs. Some of the models, such as Ginger Stanley in the above photo, did underwater work for movies and TV shows filmed at the park. The photos are on display at the Appleton Museum of Art.
